Storm Watch 202 - 1 BD / 2 BA property perched high on the hillside and offers dramatic views of the ski resort. The living space is located on the lower level and the bedroom with a private balcony is upstairs. The living room features a gas fireplace, high-definition TV with HD cable box and a Blu-ray DVD player, surround sound. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, with seating for 4 people. There is a patio off of the main level with a gas grill. In May 2023 the upstairs level had A/C installed, which also helps keep the lower-level cooler as well in the summer months. The bedroom enjoys a Casper Sleep - Adjustable Base Max - Adjustable on both sides.

The apartment is comfortable, clean and well appointed. We only had a couple of quibbles. Checking in requires stopping by to get physical keys at a different building and then dropping them off by 10am on the day of your check out. That’s irritating if you are trying to ski or hike on your last day. One other thing to note is that though it’s very close to the slopes it’s actually a bit of a long and steep walk so in reality you have to drive down to the resort and park.

Pioneer Ridge staff was helpful with getting us in unit (key needed replacement), providing sponge, more shampoo. Area was cleared of excessive snow. We received noon checkout. Short walk to ski resort obviated need for shuttle.

We have stayed in several Stormwatch rentals, 202 is a great location, but it's showing signs of wear-n-teat. Carpet mainly, otherwise it's a very comfortable place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Steamboat Ski area.

We stayed here for two nights. The condo was clean and updated nicely. The king sized bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom towels were high quality. It was nice to have a gas grill. The view of the ski hill was nice. Thankful for the screen door , as the wasps were in abundance, so we could not sit outside. We found wasp nests in the grill and under the green chairs on the front steps. Not a place to stay if you don’t like steps, as you have to go down from parking to condo. I would give this place a 3/5.

Great unit, plenty of space and updated kitchen. Great view from bluff overlooking gondola base area (from west). Agree with other reviewers that renters should be aware of stairs (down) from parking to entrance. I’ll add that there is an on-grade loading area that we used to load / unload gear. Unit is NOT walkable to base area, and shuttle isn’t available to base area, so skiing requires a drive.

Great deal and well worth it! We saved over $200 just in lodging cost alone. Didn't feel like we sacrificed anything at all, in fact we loved that we had a full kitchen and was in a small community. Great location with beautiful view! The place was also impressively clean!! Had a wonderful time there and really enjoyed being able to save some money by preparing our own meals! Would do it again in a heartbeat!

This condo is very close to the resort, but would be difficult to walk to the resort due to the hill where it is located. But it is a very short drive to the free parking or you could take the free shuttle offered by the Pioneer Ridge service. The condo was very clean and looked just like the pictures. There are beautiful updates in the bathrooms and kitchen. It was great to have a master bedroom and bath separate from the main living area, especially when you have guests sleeping on the couch or pull out sofa. They have their own bathroom too! The master bed was ok. It was not lumpy and we didn't roll to the center, but I have slept on better mattresses. This wouldn't prevent me from booking this room again, but it surprised me since the rest of the condo is so nice. Parking can be an issue. The parking lot backs to a retaining wall, so there is not much room to turn around if you have a long truck. There is only 1 parking spot allowed per unit unless they are not completely booked. The units were quiet. We could hear our neighbors talking when we were completely quiet in the master bedroom in the morning. But otherwise we didn't hear any other noise.

This condo is a very nice off-slope location with great views from the den and bedroom, of the ski slope. We enjoyed the fireplace and were able to cook simple meals in the condo. The decor is fairly simple but the beds and other furniture is comfortable. It was nice to have 2 full baths for this 1 bedroom unit since we utilized the pull out couch. WiFi and Cable were good, the place was quiet, and there was a shuttle service to the slopes and restaurants. We found the shuttle service a bit crowded and slow, but adequate for our needs. I would stay here again!

We spent two days in a Storm Watch condo at the end of July 2013. It was the perfect size for the two of us and could even have held a couple more comfortably in the living room. The location was great! Within walking distance of Ski Time Square, the view up the mountains was pretty. The road in front of the condo is pretty busy though so I wouldn't call this a ski-in place. The condo itself was comfortable, clean, and had Tv's everywhere! I would definitely stay here again.

202 Storm Watch condo felt like home. The condo was cozy, comfortable and with a balcony off the bedroom, we enjoyed the views with our morning coffee, and after a short rain shower saw 2 beautiful rainbows. The condo was well equiped with everything we needed to feel at home and have family gatherings every day. We had easy access to the gondola that took us up the ski slope (great views and hiking/biking), and the bus system that is free and took us wherever we wanted to go in Steamboat. Thank you to the owners for sharing their home with us and for many happy memories in Storm Watch.

The condo was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The king size bed was great, but on 2nd floor. Tv stations were mostly Spanish. Located next to Burgess Creek Road which had lots of traffic.

These condos sit high above the ski area, the views are fantastic. This unit is well maintained and pleasant. You are somewhat isolated but still pretty near to shopping and not to far from the central business area. We really enjoyed our stay. The only down side for us was the steep drive and loads of stairs.

The property was well kept and clean and had everything we needed for a great price. The view from our front porch and the master bedroom were outstanding. We were there for our son's baseball tournament. Loved the area and the view was spectacular to wake up too. The condo itself was great, clean and had everything we could need. Only a few cons that are easily fixable. Towels...not enough to start with. Get more from the beginning. And didn't seem to be a service, you had to drive to the office to get more. No laundry was a downfall. For us: kids got master room, because other bed was in w/ the kitchen/living area. Couldn't put kids to bed and prepare for next day w/ them in the room. Other than that...it was one of the best baseball vacations we've ever had. It was our first time to Colorado and we loved it! I still miss the view!

The condo we stayed in was nicely updated with plenty of space for my husband and me (It appears that all the condos are decorated differently). The entire staff was very helpful and made it easy to consider staying with them again. We really enjoyed our stay...the only bad thing is that our trip wasn't long enough!
